The outdoor equipment rental business moved to 11133 NE Maine St., across the street from the Kingston Chamber of Commerce. Kingston Adventures was formerly located at 26050 NE Illinois Ave.
Owner Beth Brewster said the larger space will give Kingston Adventures ( www.kingstonadventures.com ) the opportunity to provide more services to the community year-round. She expects to host more clinics, including bike maintenance and a maps and compass clinic.

Kingston Chamber didn't pay payroll taxes for three years; treasurer resigns
Kingston Chamber of Commerce President Donna Etchey is calling the gaffe a “procedural oversight.” But an internal audit’s discovery that the chamber didn’t pay payroll taxes in 2010 and 2011 prompted the resignation of the chamber’s board treasurer, the renewed use of accounting software, and development of new accounting procedures.
