Now that 2008 has come and gone with the economy, snow and gas prices on many minds, we encourage all of you to shop locally. With 2009 upon us and a brighter future ahead, we encourage all to visit Port Gamble and the array of shops that we have to offer to you.

We have a new community cookbook for sale in Port Gamble: The Port Gamble Cook Book — A top secret collection of our favorite and most popular recipes. Available at the Port Gamble Historic Museum, The Dauntless Bookstore, and Port Gamble General Store.

Also opening after being closed for remodel is the Of Sea and Shore Museum, which is located on the second floor of the Port Gamble General Store. Please make sure and see the exciting changes that were made when the museum opens on March 1st.

Port Gamble Night on the Town, Every First Friday.

Next Art Walk: March 6, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Businesses in Downtown Port Gamble, along Rainier Avenue, will feature local artists monthly and a monthly gourmet dinner at the Port Gamble General Store.

Port Gamble General Store Dinner - Dinner starts at 6:30pm and reservations are required. For reservations please call 360-297-8074 or 360-297-7636 to reserve your space for March, April and May. A credit card number or payment in full is required to hold your reservation. All cancellations must be made by the Monday prior to the dinner to receive a refund.
