Kitsap Style Fashion Show benefits dreams
June 5, 2008 · Updated 2:51 PM
The Kitsap Style Fashion Show returns again this year to raise funds for the Foster Care Association of Kitsap County and The Dream Project.
The event takes place at 2 p.m. May 4, relocated to the Kingston High School. Kitsap Style is a fun spin on current trends, and Lucky Star Consignment Clothing of Kingston brings gently used and new clothing from top designers to showcase at the event using local models. There will also be a silent auction.
Tickets for the event, sponsored by KHS Key Club, are available for $10 at KHS, Lucky Star Consignment Clothing, Pine Cone Gifts, Kitsap Bank and Kingston Crossings Chiropractic.
May is Foster Care Awareness Month and a perfect time to raise money and awareness for foster care. The Dream Project allows kids in foster care to have a few extra dollars to spend on dreams and wishes all kids have like special shoes, prom dresses, strings for their guitars and more.
