The Port Gamble Historic Home Tour, sponsored by Kitsap Arts and Crafts, Office Max and Port Gamble merchants, takes place noon-4 p.m. Sept. 13

The self-guided tour features six historic homes and the Port Gamble Museum, including homes not usually open to the public. Docents, many of whom are former residents of the town, will be available to give historical details of the town and homes they once lived in. Those taking the tour may hear everything from ghost stories to holiday memories.

Tickets will be available at Port Gamble on the day of the event; cost is a $12 donation. Signs will direct the public to the tour starting point. Proceeds fund art scholarships for Kitsap County high school graduates.
