KINGSTON — Washington Solar Incentives has completed a community solar project at Kingston High School.

It’s the company’s second solar installation in North Kitsap. The company installed a 75-kW solar project atop Poulsbo Middle School. The company’s next project is a 50-kW solar-power system atop Wolfle Elementary School. WSI anticipates the project will be finished by late October.

The Kingston High School Community Solar Project was installed in three sections atop two of the school’s buildings. It covers about 4,000 square feet and will generate about 47,000 kilowatt hours per year.
