Prime pumpkin picking | Slideshow

KINGSTON — Port Gamble S’Klallam Head Start instructor Kyle Carpenter said that before this field trip, most of his students said pumpkins came from stores. The preschool students were at Sunrise Hill Farm in Kingston Oct. 18, collecting pumpkins to measure and carve, and made a few furry friends. The children met goats, cows, chickens and even llamas, explored a mini hay maze and braved the farm's bigger corn maze.
