It’s nice to be “in the loop,” “have the inside scoop,” and be “ahead of the curve” when it comes to Kingston issues. This year the Kingston Citizen Advisory Committee has assembled more than 40 county and state agencies, businesses, community groups and non-profit organizations that are ready to answer questions, gather input and provide information on a wide variety of topics. The community event is set for 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at Kingston Middle School.

“The 2009 Kingston Open House is filled with answers,” says Greg Platz, Kingston Citizen Advisory Council Co-chair. “If you’ve got questions, curiosity or just like to know what’s going on in Kingston, this is the event to attend.”

Kitsap County Commissioner Steve Bauer is scheduled to attend and make some brief public comments.

Organized by the Kingston Citizen Advisory Committee (KCAC), the annual get-together offers area residents a chance to ask questions one-on-one directly to the people with the answers. The format features a casual, walk-around atmosphere with agencies and groups hosting table displays.
