A three-vehicle collision involving a commercial box van briefly blocked traffic on Hood Canal Bridge Monday morning.

The collision occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on the Jefferson County end of the bridge. Lanes were cleared by 11:30 a.m., Washington State Patrol Trooper Krista Hedstrom said.

Aid was called to the scene but no injuries were immediately reported.

Hedstrom said the collision happened just after a bridge opening and traffic on northbound State Route 3 was backed up to Scenic Drive NE following the crash.
