A big thank you goes out to those who volunteered to water the beautiful hanging flower baskets that brighten lampposts throughout downtown Kingston all summer.

Volunteers include: Carol Moser, Karen Hokinson, Marilyn Liden Bode, Jenny Davis, Sally Christy, Dorothy & Linn Harris, American Marine Bank employees, Walt Elliott, Ann Wetter, Jan Richards, Tom Chambers, Larry Anderson, Jerry Balas, Tom Lamar and his children, Jack Minert, Dan Martin, Bill Maule, John Hacket and Karen Ross.

The baskets are sponsored by individuals who pay $100 and a $25 annual maintenance fee. In return, a special engraved bronze plaque is attached to a designated lamppost.

Sponsors are needed for next year, and may be a business, family, club or in memory of a loved one. Contact the Kingston Revitalization Association at P.O. Box 1519, Kingston, WA 98346.
