Schwan, of Kingston, finishes Boston Marathon in 3:31:55

Tenille Schwan, 36, of Kingston finished in the top half of runners in the 119th Boston Marathon, April 20. Four hours later, she and her fiance, Ik Icard, were on a plane to Mexico to be married.

No. 1 singles Danya Wallis of North Kitsap handily beat Tessa Johnson of Kingston 6-0, 6-0 before beating Ryoko Kumei from Kingston and Hannah Gauthun by the same scores, May 12 in the Olympic League 2A Girls Tennis Tournament. Willis was to face Sarah Casias of Bremerton in the final May 14.

Just spoke with South Kitsap athletic director Ed Santos, who said the Wolves’ Class 4A West Central District Tournament baseball game scheduled for 7 tonight against Tahoma at Tacoma’s Heidelberg Park has not been postponed — yet. Santos said if the game is postponed because of rain, he has discussed a couple of different possibilities...
