KHS alum Wildung bats .301 for PLU

Curtis Wildung, a Kingston High School grad who now catches for Pacific Lutheran University, batted .301 with two home runs, 12 RBI, 23 runs and three stolen bases for the Lutes in their 2015 conference-title season.

No. 1 singles Danya Wallis of North Kitsap handily beat Tessa Johnson of Kingston 6-0, 6-0 before beating Ryoko Kumei from Kingston and Hannah Gauthun by the same scores, May 12 in the Olympic League 2A Girls Tennis Tournament. Willis was to face Sarah Casias of Bremerton in the final May 14.

The North Kitsap Vikings won five Olympic League titles: baseball, boys soccer, boys track, girls tennis, and girls track. The next step on the road to state begins May 9, when several district tournaments begin.
