Kingston's Stillwaters offers low-tide beach walk, kids’ camp

Annual Low-Tide Beach Walk, 12:30-1:30 p.m. July 5. Gather at the Kingston Farmers Market at the marina. Join a marine ecologist from Stillwaters to discover the rich nearshore environment Fun for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear shoes or boots to get muddy and walk on rocks. Cost is a $5 suggested donation. Pre-register at (360) 297-2876.

Summer Nature Camp for Kids, July 28-31: Register by July 14 for this hands-on learning experience for children entering second through sixth grades. Led by Kari Golden, kids will explore the many ecosystems on the Stillwaters campus and Carpenter Creek while having fun playing outdoors. Class takes place 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cost is $100 for all four days and includes snacks; students provide their own lunch.
